Olive goes to Taiwan

Tzuan Wu of The Other Cinema Collective will be presenting a programme of Experimental Film Society screening at Taipei Contemporary Art Centre in Taipei, Taiwan on Sunday 7th July.

My recent short film Olive will play along side fellow EFS filmmakers.

雖然橄欖這部電影明顯是拍攝於現今，導演使用了手工沖洗膠卷來喚起一種接近古老儀式的情緒。聚集在偏遠村落的一群人被吸附到手工上色的顏色和未經修復的早期電影的衰敗質地的影格中。電影的本質正是透過過往幽靈的眼神復訪糾纏著現在。
