EFS Luminous Void Experimental Film Festival / LVEFF2018

It has arrived.

EFS presents the first edition of Luminous Void Experimental Film Festival.

I'm happy to announce Drifting Cities makes it's Dublin Premiere as part of this two-day event at The New Theatre in Dublin's Temple Bar. It'll be sure to send you into a light sleep, which is necessary for such dreary Irish weather. It's about many things but at the same time not about much. This means you can dip in and out of it without missing a single thing.

Also on the bill is Vicky Langan and Maximillian Le Cain's feature film Inside which opens the festival at 18:00 on the Friday. This is the first feature-length collaboration by the duo.

Saturday sees a talk by filmmaker Maximilian Le Cain. It's called Electric Dust. I really like that name. It's on Saturday evening at 17:00.

Jann Clavadetscher's Kino Hospital closes the festival. I'm quite excited about this as I haven't seen it yet. It's on the Saturday night at 19:00. It will be accompanied by Ieva Balode's short film Sisyphus Condition. Ieva is coming all the way from Latvia to attend which means all filmmakers will be in attendance for each of their films. This means you can ask questions if you like. Or not. Sometimes it's really interesting to hear others speak about a film you've just seen. How it was made, the adventures undertaken, the problems and challenges faced, movie magic. The list goes on.
