Last October I was invited to Koumaria, a 10 day artist residency near Sparta in Greece operated by the artist collective Medea Electronique. It was fantastic.
I began shooting a Super 8mm short film with the collaboration of the artists in residence. It has just been completed and is entitledOlive (Super 8mm, 11mins).

In September 2018 production commenced on a new feature film supported by The Arts Council of Ireland. Principle photography was on and off over a period of 6months in Wexford, Dublin and Kilkenny. It was shot on 35mm using a 1970's Konvas 1M Camera. The exposed stock went to Toronto, Canada for processing at Niagara Custom Lab and for 5K scanning at Frame Discreet. I received both the digital and analogue rushes yesterday and post-production begins next week.
It is my largest film to date featuring the most wonderful cast I could have imagined. Thank you Alain Servant, Natasha Everitt, Conn Rogers, Henrik Gard, Enda Moran, Trish Murphy, John Linnane, Ambra Bergamasco and Cillian Roche.
